I am curious if anyone else has had this problem. My users are experiencing garbled messages, or what sounds like intereference and sometimes cut-outs, when accessing their voicemails. However, it apparently isn't on the voicemail itself because when the user re-accesses the same message or if the message is transferred to another phone, it many times come across clean. Our current version is 4.0 Build 4.0(3)SR1. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could be a problem with the NIC or a duplex mismatch. Make sure that the NIC and switch port are hard coded to 100/Full and not set to autonegotiate. Please see the following link for some other troubleshooting steps to try.

Thanks for the reply Brandon. I have tried quite a few troubleshooting techniques but to no avail thus far. I am not a true hardware specialist, so could you aid me in determining if the NIC is hard coded to 100/Full?
