in a tradition pbx environment users has to unlock there phone line and not just the phone to make a call. what is the best way to accomlish this in a CCM environment when migrating to CCM and/or when migration is over?

If you want to prevent that users does not use a phone that does not belong to them in order to dial PSTN numbers you can use FACs (Force authorization codes) which will ask for a "personal" code before the phone can dial to the PSTN. If they dont enter the correct FAC they will get reorder tone.
Available in CCM 3.3(4) and 4.1(2)

In version 3.3.4 you have the facility of Forced Authorisation Codes this are applied to the route patterns and force the user to enter a code before the call is routed.

We have a product that make that. Is a lockkey software that act as an IP Service and use the user PIN as the unlock code for phone calls.
