Nortel option 11 c and IAD2431 E1/T1 interoperability

I'm trying to connect using an E1 (R2 signaling) an IAD2431 to a PBX Meridian from Nortel. The IAD is connect to a BTS10200 V4.1.

We only get to have one way audio, but when the call is finished the trunk in both sides (pbx and iad) remain in busy state.

any ideas about how line signaling between these two devices should work?

Well the IAD is configured for E&M immidiate which is completely different from R2 even though they are both a way to do CAS.
