I was trying to nail down the Pros and Cons of using either H323 or a SIP trunk from CUCM 8.6 to a Cisco CUBE router that is connecting to Verizon via SIP?
It seems like coming in SIP from the provider and going H323 to CUCM is an extra step of protocol conversion and that it would be better on resources to be SIP from the provider and SIP from CUBE to CUCM. Would one or the other be better on MTP resources?
How about T38 fax support. If the ITSP supports T38, would it be better for CUBE to connect to CUCM via SIP or H323.
