I am looking through the QOS config on our 3650 stacks and wondering about the following -Under each of the classes below I see the number of packets going up, but then below it says 0 packets 0 bytes for each one. What exactly is the output below telling me? This is part taken from a show policy-map interface xx command.

Service-policy input: MARKING

Class-map: VOIP (match-any)
2874405 packets
Match: ip dscp ef (46)
0 packets, 0 bytes
5 minute rate 0 bps
QoS Set
dscp ef

Class-map: SIGNALING (match-any)
710421 packets
Match: ip dscp cs3 (24)
0 packets, 0 bytes
5 minute rate 0 bps
QoS Set
dscp cs3

Class-map: MULTIMEDIA-CONFERENCING (match-any)
5113075 packets
Match: access-group name MULTIMEDIA-CONF
0 packets, 0 bytes
5 minute rate 0 bps
QoS Set
dscp af41

Class-map: SIGNALING (match-any)
160070 packets
Match: access-group name SIGNALING
0 packets, 0 bytes
5 minute rate 0 bps

Thanks

I'm not 100% certain, but believe the first match is for packets that match the class and the second for packets that were subjected to class queuing.

If you are correct Joseph (and I know you said you weren't 100%) - my outputs would indicate the Interface in question has not experienced any congestion ,which in turn means there has not been a need to carry out queuing for the Interface?

Correct, that's want I believe the stats are telling you.
