Hi, I would like to know if you can recommend me devices which can be use to replace gateways AS5300 - AS5400 & AS5350, in a VOIP network actually running with those models. Our network is running under sc7 and SIP, with E1s managing calls.
Please let me know if you need any other information. Thanks!

The AS5xxx can be replaced using new ISR with voice card.
But the question is, how you manage the current gateway?
are you using PGW?

Hi Daniele, thank you for answer! Yes, we use PGW to manage the signaling. Is there any device that works with the ISR as the PGW works with the AS5xxx?

Hi, as you know PGW is in EoL.
I don't know if you move to virtual PGW 9.9(1) included in the Hosted Collaboration Solution.
Do you think to replace the PGW infrastructure or keep it alive and replace only old AS5400 GW?
If your idea is to keep the infrastructure, my personal suggestion is to see for refurbished AS5400XM GW.
Officially PGW supports these trunking gateways
– Cisco AS5300
– Cisco AS5350 and AS5350XM
– Cisco AS5400, AS5400HPX, and AS5400XM
– Cisco AS5850
– Cisco MGX 8800 (MGCP only) with Voice Interworking Services Module (VISM) and Voice Switch Services
Module (VXSM)
All these devices are in EoL.
Alternatively, you can see for another media gateway vendor.
Audiocodes Mediant 2000 or 3000 are still in production by israely vendor Audiocodes.
Some years ago they integrated with PGW.
You can try to study and verify this solution.
I've attached an old interoperability manual.
If you can, evaluate to move to a full SIP trunk interconnection.
Regards.
