Hello all;

Are there a way to distinguish between the real VoIP traffic ( Pc to Phone or Phone To Phone ) and other voice traffic ( Pc to Pc; like chat applications) by analyzing the channel or medial VoIP protocols ?

Yes, there is one parameter called "Application Type" in the H225 setup message, which would have values like Windows Netmeeting application or Openh323, etc.
