What do I need to talk to a CCM Sip Trunk?

Hi guys,

If I want to route calls down a Callmanager SIP trunk to an application running on a server what exactly do I need? I don't know how the SIP trunk is presented. If I setup a simple SIP endpoint would I expect the call to come in here?

Hi,

the SIP trunk is something as a "static" route (Proxy to Proxy). From the other side you have to send a call without registering to the CCM (it is not a Registrar in this case, but a proxy server). You are sending directly an "INVITE" message. Configure the route to the CCM only by its IP address.
