I have a client that needs the 'missed call' message to stay visible on the phone until the handset is picked up. I tested it here on my system with the latest software pack and the '1 missed call' message stays on the screen until I do something to the phone.
At my clients location they say it vanishes in 5 seconds.
How can I fix this?

What firmware is the customer running and what IOS? I can't think of any reason that the message would disappear.

It is using Version 12.4(11r)XW3 for IOS, CUE 7.0, I am not sure how to check the cme version. It was one of the packs either 7.01 or something like that.

12.4(11r)XW3 is a boot version.
Can you copy and past a show ver? Also, can you provide the config?
