how do you use hookflash with a 7921G?  When the second call (call waiting) comes in I can not hookflash to it.  Can this be configured via CCA2.1

well, I guess time to call TAC

Will update group once I get through something that sounds SO simple

:(

Hookflash is enabled by default on UC 500s. When you receive a call-waiting tone, you could select the "Flash" softkey to put the current call on hold and accept the second incoming call. Softkeys on 7921 IP Phones are activated by using the right softkey button that launches the "Options" menu.

HTH,

Saurabh

Can you help me,

I have 7975G 7940G SPA521 and SPA509, i can find any softkey for flash my fxo trunk.

How can verify if the fonction is enable or disable in my UC520 ?

Thank You !

Hookflash, feature is enabled by default on UC 500s. One way to check this will be to go to CCA:

Troubleshoot > Telephony Diagnostics > IOS Exec Commands

In the command bar, go ahead and paste "show telephony-service" and click on Run. In the output, look for "fxo hook-flash". If that's enabled, then the UC 500 is configured with this feature. If this is not enabled, then it must have been removed manually and you will need to configure this through CLI (or you can restore the system to its default to have it enabled). If there are any changes done, you may need to restart IP Phones for new changes to kick in.

Thanks,

Saurabh

After Reset my uc520

i can find any soft key for flash my fxo.

This is my config for telephony service

Thank you !

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Did you look for the flash softkey when you had another call come in on an active FXO port? The flash softkey will only appear when there is a call-waiting on an active call that traverses through one of the FXO ports.

Thanks,
Saurabh

Yes,

When i place the call from my 7975G in one FXO, i can find any soft key for Flash. When i receive another call form the same FXO, i can find any soft key. I have only HOLD, ENDCALL, TRANSFER, CONF, OTHER => ACCT PARK

Thank !

Does the IP Phone display change when you receive the second call? I want to make sure that the second call is coming in on the same FXO port. Some of the voice and phone debugs could be helpful in pin-pointing the issue.

Thanks,

Saurabh

Hi,

When i make debug for my fxo port : debug vpm all

He have no message when he have call waiting ?!@!@!? in the fxo port

Do you have any command for sensibility of call waiting signal ??

Thank.

I use for my line the Videotron phone line (modem with fxs connection)

Thank you

The problem is with the version of CCA 2.0.1. After i install and reset with version 2.0 and the flash soft key is in my phone !!!

Thank

Daniel Grimard

The only command that's required to enable hook-flash is"fxo hook-flash" configured under telephony-services. This command is not altered by CCA and is enabled in the default configs. I will double check with the engineering team on this.

-Saurabh

not as simple as you would expect.  Since I was using a 7921 phone, the XML had to be edited and deleted?  the case number with TAC was 642777363

Would love a better explination then I got...  which was none.

thanks
