Can someone in the Cisco community explain to me why, a $850 (list) wireless handset ships with out a Battery; a Charger, a Cradle or even a usb cable to allow connection to a PC (for charging). (AAAAH you say - but it does have an optional leather case!)
Admit to being really angry becuase I screwed up in front of the client - and assumption is the Mother of all F@#$ ups; but really; who comes up with these appallingly stupid configs???
These are SMALL BUSINESS devices! Not half million dollar enterprise CMU deployments.
What POSSIBLE use is a phone with no battery and no charger?
AM now stuck with it as the client hit the roof when I told him the reason it had no battery and no charger was Cisco likes it that way... offered to supply them at no cost, but he was so flabbergatsed by the concept, that he washed his hands of the whole deal (UC560 plus SA520W plus 3 ESW540's and 50 handsets)...
Way to go feller's....
