As I had no luck with the 7965, wondering if this unit - SPA 525G is supported on the SRP-527W modem router. Please note: for the helpful soul who replied to other post, this is NOT a 3rd party system...
Could anyone tell me if this unit is supported on the Cisco SRP527W router/modem?I can register with the SIP provider (info screen in router) but cannot get past "registering" on the phone itself.(need to use wireless broadband, hence the 527 unit).
Client has asked if the UC540 will provide an "intercom" at the front door of his home/office.Now, initially, I thought "No" - it is a PBX, not a doorbell...Easy out is to use an IP Camera with Mic/Spkrs. (He has ordered 525G's, so video monitoring o...
Have deployed a few of these - and am truly frustrated that I cannot see then in the topolgy, let alone actually manage them. Can someone tell me why such a ubiquitous switch is not supported.Even the SmartPort utility is useless - CCA (3.3.1 and earl...

Yes thanks Leo, also used a 525G and have same issue. Assumed as SRP527 is basically an above average gateway, not a CM, that SIP would be the default?
Am afraid this is another example why I truly believe Cisco are not serious about the SMB space... (hte Board seemes to think they have it covered by buying Linksys...)Not having this driver sounds trivial, until it is time to deploy one/many. Sorry...
