Our business is looking to change to a new desk-phone system as we move to a new office. We have decided to use a Hosted PBX system and we are looking our options regarding physical handsets. Currently we are thinking of purchasing either the CISCO 504G or CISCO 508G handsets. I understand that the difference between the two handsets is that the 504G supports 4 phone lines, and the 508G supports 8 phone lines. Since a Hosted PBX system does not use phone lines in the traditional sense, is there any real benefit to using the 508G handsets vs using the 504G handsets?
