Cisco 9971 vs 7975G

I currently have a UC520 with 3 x Cisco 7975G phones.  I need a few more phones.  From what I can see, the 7975G and 9971 are about the same price, however the 9971 is newer.  Is there any reason to stick with the 7975G?  It looks as if the UC520 will get along just fine with the 9971.

Hi Reid,

The 7975G uses SCCP with Octolines. It also has a color touch screen.

The 9971 is a SIP only phone with dual lines only. You are limited with this phone.

I would recommend staying with the 7975G or lower.
