Cisco SPA 303 Stuck at " Checking DNS"

I have a SPA 303 that I'm trying to connect to the network via wired connection through a Wi-Fi extenders ethernet port, is this possible?

It doesn't pass the Checking DNS part of the initialization and gets stuck there.

The extender has network connectivity and I'm able to hook my laptop and other devices via Ethernet and surf the internet.

The main question here is why are all my other devices able to connect via ethernet through the extender but not my phone?

Yes and it still gives the checking DNS prompt

this phone is supposed to register in some server, right?

yes.

Right.

And did you add the IP address of the server on the phone?  Or a name?

Yes, it is showing and IP address, Hostname, Subtnet, etc.

I believe  I was not clear. When you turn this phone on, the phone will look for a server in order to join (register).

my point is. If you add the server´s name on the phone, it may not be able to resolve the server´s name thus stucking on the DNS checking message.

If you instead use only the Server´s IP, it may not get stuck.
