Can someone please tell me what options there are to improve the voice quality on Cisco SPA5xx phones running the latest firmware?
What options are available from within the web interface to tweak/improve the quality?
I am not talking about QOS and other VOIP quality issues with the network ---- just with the Cisco phones themselves.
Thanks.

I would recommend:
1. Check that the phone is set to using G.711u codec.
2. As of software version 7.4.6, they added new control on the User tab window, under Audio Volume called Deep Base.
Try setting the Deep Base value to HiDef.

Thanks. I tried that and that helps a little. I also increased the DB on the headset & handset.
Is there any other way to increase the listening volume on the handsets? It is very low even at a high setting.
Maybe there is an undocumented way to increase it?
