Dear All

We have one CISCO SPA3102 and one Cisco PAP2T adapter available at two of our branch offices. Both branches are connected over LAN. We have to configure FXS ports on both branch offices to work as extensions over IP. Kindly let me know if this could be using these devices or we have to purchase new device and how we can create dial plans on both devices. Diagram attached for reference. I don't have much experince working with VOIP devices so your support will be great help.

Regards

Muhammad

You can setup direct ip calling between the two adapters.

Your diagram shows the SPA3102 ip address is 20.20.20.5 and the PAP2T ip address is 20.20.20.10.

I would setup the SPA3102 with a userid of 2001 and the PAP2T with a userid of 2002.

When you lift the attached phone, a dial plan of (<:2002@20.20.20.10:5060>S0) on the SPA3102 should call the PAP2T Line configured with Sip Port 5060.

When you lift the attached phone, a dial plan of (<:2001@20.20.20.5:5060>S0) on the PAP2T should call the SPA3102 Line 1 configured with Sip Port 5060.

I would change the sip port numbers on each adapter from the default 5060 to something else, however that is not a requirement.

On each adapter's Line configuration you need to set Enable IP Dialing: Yes, Make Call without Reg: Yes, Ans Call without Reg: Yes. NAT Mapping Enable must be No on each adapter.
