I am attempting to attach two Cisco ATA 186s back to back using a router between them. Both have static IPs. I am running 3.02.04(090202A) on both.

Are there parameters in the ATAs that I can set so I do not have to have a Call Manager in the circuit? If not is there an inexpensive Call Manager that will work.

ATA186 are SCCP only devices. Those devices are unsuitable for direct interconnect, as far as I know.

Use a SIP kind of ATA, like SPA112. It should work, but I never tried it by self, so no warranty.
