We are a small isp which offers voice service on our broadband network via 3rd party. Most of our customers
use the SPA504g phones. The voice service is provided by a 3rd party provider so we are not directly responsible
for the configuration of the Asterisk servers. The main problem we are experiencing with a lot of customers is
that on incoming calls, when a person answers the call sometimes it says 'answering' on the phone screen
for a good few seconds before the calls is connected and you can actually hear the ringing party. We have done
extensive testing and found no latency issue on the network. What we are trying to figure out is that whether there are
any custom settings in the phone configuration which needs to be changed to resolve this issue.
Advice would be much appreciated as it is quite annoying for the customers.
