I have a 7961 with an expansion module where the screen died on a UC500 system.
I have a replacement phone that I have attached the expansion module and plugged in but of course it needs the configuration assigned to the mac address of the old phone. What is the easiest way to do this?
Can I do it in CCA 3.1? I am guessing not as I configured the first phone using the CLI.
Thanks,

I do this quite a bit....
1. Unplug the old phone.
2. conf t
3. ephone <#>
4. reset
5. mac-address
6. ephone-template <#>
7. Plug in new phone
Sometimes you may have to "reset" multiple times for the "mac-address" command to go through. Do NOT plug in the new phone until after this is completed.

Thanks Daniel.
Unfortunately I had already plugging in the new phone.
I changed the user name in the on the existing ephone and configured the new ephone like the old one.
I will try the reset command to purge the old ephone. I will follow this procedure next time.
Thanks.
