Hi there,
I'm new on this forum and also new on Cisco community.
Just 18 years of engeneering in computers, software and networks...
We're looking for a standard configuration of an UC540 / Bri connected to two France Telecom/T0.
All the configuration of the UC540 has been done and work perfectly on our Msft Network except the most important thing the PSTN Trunk.
We've 2 T0 with 10 SDA (DID) and would like to test Cisco products on such configuration.
Can somebody help us with this configuration, may be with a sample standard one ?
Thanks in advance
Marc

Hello,
you must use this configuration for FT :
interface BRI0/1/0
no ip address
isdn switch-type basic-net3
isdn point-to-point-setup
isdn incoming-voice voice
isdn sending-complete
trunk-group ALL_BRI 64
!
interface BRI0/1/1
no ip address
isdn switch-type basic-net3
isdn point-to-point-setup
isdn incoming-voice voice
isdn sending-complete
trunk-group ALL_BRI 64
For DIDs, only the four last digits of the called number are transfered, so you must add transfer rules like this :
1234 -> 201 if the called number is 01 XX YY 12 34 for instance.
This can be done in CCA or by simple translation rules like this :
voice translation-rule 9
rule 1 /1234/ /201/

Hi Stephane,
I did as you suggested and outgoing calls seem to work.
It's impossible to get incoming calls and every calls get a busy tonality from the outside...
Any idea ?
On our old system all DIDs were wtih 6 digits 68xxxx or 77xxxx is that right ?
Thanks for your answer

Marc
Hi,
In fact after a "debug isdn", I could create the right rules based on 9 digits numbers trasmitted by FT why 9, I don't know
Then as I created my rules on this obesvation, it seems to work pretty well.
Thanks again for your answer
