Hi again everyone,
I am wondering if you can enable historical reporting and have the data save to a server rather than on the UC.
Here is why I ask, when you try to enable historical reporting from the CUE you have to drop the total VM space to 480 minutes. I can't do this as they need the full amount of VM space available.
I need historical reporting to see inbound call handling but can't drop the total VM time. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks,
Jorge

Take a look at the Call Accounting options in UC500:

Also, you may want to look into ISI and Veramark, both paid applications that we are compatible with:

You can configure accounting templates that filter just the fields that you want. Look here for "Customized Reports":
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/voice/cdr/developer/guide/cdrcsv.html
Having said that, ISI offers a very nice and VERY affordable interpretation service that could help you automate the process. Check them out. It will be worth it.

OK so I set up the FTP dump of the CSV file and it works great. Unfortunately the report has a ton of data that my client doesn't want to see. I was wondering if the Cisco Historical Reporting client would be able to use these CSV fields or if there is another application (outside of creating a custom DB that can run reports) that I can use.
Thanks,
Jorge

Yeah, I played with the system a bit and couldn't get a report to dump with just the info I wanted. So I am looking into the ISI solution which looks promising. However, it requires the CDR reporting to be FTP'ed to their server straight from the UC unit.
This unit isn't directly connected to the internet and the WAN interface is disabled. I can't seem to ping anything outside of the network. I tried adding a static route to push it through the LAN gateway but that doesn't seem to take either. What is the best method for setting up a static route on the unit so I can get the FTP connection established?
Thanks,
Jorge
