Hi there -
I'm working off a CISCO IP Phone 303 and can't seem to change the Hold Music - anyone know how we can do this?
Much appreciated!
Georgie.

Hold music is usually controlled by the PBX the device is registered to. You would most likely need to change it there.

To change the Hold Music on a CISCO IP Phone 303, you'll need to follow these steps:
Access the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM): Log in to the CUCM where your phone is registered.
Go to the Music On Hold Audio Source Configuration: Navigate to Media Resources > Music On Hold Audio Source.
Upload the New Audio File: Ensure your new hold music file is in the correct format (usually 8bit, 8000hz, mono, WAV). Upload the new file and save the changes.
Assign the Audio Source to the Device Pool: Go to Device > Device Settings > Device Pool and select the device pool your phone is part of. Assign the new Music On Hold audio source to this device pool.
Restart the Devices: After making these changes, you might need to restart the phone or device pool to apply the new hold music.
If you follow these steps and still face issues, please let me know!
Much appreciated!
