How to configure SPA112 so that door buzzer also rings in the condo

I'm in an older condo and the door is wired directly into the apartment.  If I put an analog phone on the lines in the house, it rings and we can talk to the person at the door.  When I plugged the SPA112 into the lines in the house the buzzer doesn't work anymore.  What happens at the door is the dialer hears the beeps that indicate the door is sending a ring to the condo.  Then there's a click and a dial-tone.  In the condo the phone hasn't rung.

The following is a debug session of this interaction with the door.  What I'd like to know is, what does the stuff in the debug log mean (System only at debug level with one call in from the door)  and how can I configure the SPA112 to ignore/pass through/enable the call from the door?

The door line emulates an FXS line (provide power and signal). Also the SPA emulates an FXS line. This is the issue.

Two FXS lines "cannot talk" togheter.

An FXS line can talk with an FXO line (received power and signals) but the setup of an FXO equipment required a fine tuning to work perfectly.

Regards.
