Hi everyone,
I'm trying to setup my UC320 but the phones are not registering, the phones are SPA509G's and I have tried plugging them directly into the UC320 and plugging them into a catalyst 3560 series switch but still no luck. Please could someone help with this issue.

Hi Joshua,
The phones use Cisco CDP to learn about the voice VLAN 100. While we don't test with the Catalyst switches, you will need to configure the switch for a voice VLAN 100. Phone ports should be untagged on VLAN 1, and tagged on VLAN 100. CDP on the switch needs to advertise the Voice VLAN as 100.
That said, something else is causing problems because the phones should work if plugged in directly to the UC320W. Have you factory defaulted the phones using the phones LCD menu? Make sure the phones are using SIP mode and not SCCP.

Hi,
I tried the following on my 3560 and my SPA509G synced up
interface range 0/1 - 24
switchport voice vlan 100
I didn't touch the GbE ports, you better.
Internet(config)#do show ver
Cisco IOS Software, C3560 Software (C3560-IPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.2(55)SE3, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
But why not consider the Small Business 300 series switches in conjunction with the UC320W.
They are both supported post sales by the Small Business Support center.
