Cisco IP Communicator is the lowest cost phone in out portfolio (list $90) and is our soft phone, and looks like a 7970.

The MODEL in CCA is is CIPC and it is built the same as any phone.

IP communicator gets ip from a dhcp 192.168.10.11. when i tried to conifgure button through CME gui there is no option for button???? seems abnormal

then i tried to configure through CCA it gives me the option configure it but doesnt shown up on CIPC. how i can configure users on CIPC???/

THanks

Check out Technical Enablement Lab #25 in this community (search will find it) There is a user (Dwight Schrute) that is a CIPC that we use CCA to configure.

Remember to set the Preferences on CIPC for 10.1.1.1 network (Voice VLAN dGW) and select the wired Ethernet interface.
