Keypad Not Recognized - Voicemail

So I have a UC560 at a home user and its still running the 8.0 code so that the user can manage the system being he is a 100% mac household and CCA just doesn't cut it.  Its been stable/fine for almost 2 years but as of recently when he dials into the cue to check his messages it doesn't recognize him entering his pin.  Its as if he pressed nothing.  I also tested by having it dial his cell to notify him of a message and when he trys to enter numbers from his cell it also acts as if he pressed nothing.. 

Strangly enough I'm having a similar issue (however in this instance its intermittent) with a UC560 + Exchange 2010 UM.

What would cause the buttons on a phone to apparently not work when dialing a voicemail system?  Is it an option on the phone, is it not making the tone?

I'm lost on this one.  Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Have you done an upgrade recently?

CCA 3.1 I think it was, had a bug in it that broke the DTMF config on either the CME or CUE.

Do you have Cisco support if so you should call them, they should be able to fix it no time at all.
