I have a couple SPA509G phones and all conencted to the platform.
All phones connect to the platform with an internal accountnumber, just like 123456789.
Also i create for every accountnumber an extension number, just like 100, 101, 102 etc...
Example:
Account nr. 123456789 has extension 100
Account nr. 234567890 has extension 101
Account nr. 345678901 has extension 102
etc...
When i will make a call from phone with extension 100 to the phone with extension 101, i now can make a call to dial the number 101 instead the whole account number.
But now the issue is, when i make the call from phone 100 to 101, the phone will ring and everything works fine.
But on the phone that is ringing (101) i see the number of the calling phone but see 123456789 instead of 100.
How i can configure that i only see the extension number???

Under Phone;
Station name: the name of the user of the phone
Statioin display name: the name of the user of the phone
Under Ext1;
Display name: Company name
For example:
-----------------
Under Phone;
Station name: Danny
Statioin display name: Danny
Under Ext1;
Display name: Westland ICT
The Display name 'Westland ICT' wll be displayed on the other phone i called, but it is the phone number he's shows wrong.
I see the accountnumber instead the extension number.

Hi Danny,
I think that i found a solution.
In SPA Phones configuration you can find the Option Caller ID Header.
Please do a capture with Wireshark or with the SPA Phone syslog, there we can find where is the field that you want to be displayed as Caller ID.
Caller ID Header Select where the IP phone gets its caller ID from:
PAID-RPID-FROM
P-ASSERTED-IDENTITY
REMOTE-PARTY-ID
FROM header
Defaults to PAID-RPID-FROM.
I hope it help.
Best Regards.

I downloaded Wireshark, but don't understand it realy how to capture it??
http://wiki.wireshark.org/VoIP_calls
[truncated] Syslog message: (unknown): ACK sip:91.195.160.3:5061 SIP/2.0\r\nVia: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.10.15:5060;branch=z9hG4bK-4cceeb44\r\nFrom: "Westland ICT" <77710060915>;tag=72ed739bc3a4ed95o0\r\nTo: <31>31>77710060915>
I have checked for the Caller ID, only FROM...
But it doesn't mather what i choose, everything show the same.
So..
Now it shows:
from: Westland ICT
77710060915
But it must be:
From: Westland ICT
15
15 is the extension
Or if that is not possible, then only show: Westland ICT

Hi Danny,
You are receiving the correct Caller ID , because in the SIP invite you can see the FROM field as "Westland ICT" <77710060915>.77710060915>
The only way to change it is to change it in the SIP Proxy or IPBX. You must configure the Platform to send the Extension as the CLID.
What platform are you using?

Problem has been solved... i needed enter an Auth ID en set the Auth ID option to YES.
Put into the Auth ID the account number and into the User ID field the extension or outgoing call number.
Thanks!
