PAP2-NA invisible on network

Have just unpacked and connected my new PAP2-NA. I have verified that DHCP is enabled and retrieved the IP address. But my browser won't connect to the ATA and I can't see it on the network. I have manually entered its IP address in my firewall in case that was the problem. I have unplugged and replugged it. I have rebooted it. The ethernet LED is blinking green. Any suggestions as to what I should try next?

Try to reset it to factory default. Connect a phone into line1 and use this code:

If you try to PING the PAP, do you get a response?

Thank you for the suggestions. I've now tracked down the problem to a dodgy bit of ethernet cable with an intermittent fault in it.
