Simple question that I don't know the answer to;
Can I do PAT on the UC500 if it is only getting it's IP via DHCP from the ISP?
The client wants to pass traffic inside but they only have 1 DHCP address and I have only done this with statics.
Thanks in advance,
Bob James

Do you mean port forwarding? If so, you can still do this. I would recommend that you use DDNS, so when accessing your application from the outside you can just point it to a named destination, rather than an IP which wuld change.
If your mean NAT/PAT from the inside out, that should work too.

Yes I mean port forwarding (inbound to DHCP IP) DDNS is a good choice I just wanted to make sure if I forward SSL, that the UC would not intercept it for itself (if that makes sense).
Cheers,
Bob
