you cannot add any phone buttons on this phone to configure a pickup function in combination with a UC320W.

to work around i configured a shared line to all extensions, so when the rings, anyone can pickup the call.

Sorry to "resurrect" this post, but the customer is complaining that all SPA501G are ringing in same time. Is there another way to users pickup calls ?

The pickup function call flow uses the softkey dial which is not present on the spa501.  Thus the pickup function *36 is disabled on SPA501 phones. 

Try configuring line monitor feature on a spare SPA501 phone button for the users extension to pickup.  Then the end user can just press the flashing button on the SPA501 to answer the incoming call.

From UC320W configuration utility

Phone Buttons -> Select SPA501 phone -> Configure unused button -> Line Monitor -> select extension to monitor
