Hi There,

We currently have been quoting and supplying ESW 520 swithces for phone systems ass the SPA phones dont have GB uplink.

What is the differences other than price between these and SF an SG series?

Are ther SBCS phones with GB uplinks ?

Thanks

Graeme

The main differences are as follows

SG = Gigabit 10/100/1000

SF = Fast Ethernet 10/100

200 Series = L2 switch

300 Series = L3 Switch

You can have an SG200 or SG300 switch. Same as SF200 or SF300.

Yes, the switching fabric and forwarding rate is higher on the newer switches.  Check out the phone matrix I uploaded, I think you will be happy with that.

Are these switches better or worse thant the ESW???

Also what phones are under SBCS Scope with GB ports??

Ok Thanks,

So the SF and SG are the way to go .

Cheers

NP and the 200 series SG switches are probably the best value for the money because SMB does not really make use of L3 routing, which the 300 series provides.
