remote extensions

Became a Cisco reseller after attending a supplier meeting in which Cisco presented, that was focused on small business communications, and bought an NFR phone system on special deal.  Intention was to use in office and connect a single home office using this sytem, and potential for doing same for a few existing software clients.  We are a software developer and resell hardware to provide turnkey systems. Mentioned this to Cisco reps, and they saw no objection.

Now in setting it up, support has told us that UC320 does not support remote extension.  If that's the case, why even bother with an IP phone system?  Is this true, or did we get an inexpereinced support rep while shortstaffed on Easter Monday?

Single Number Reach is not an available feature of the UC320.  Your only option would be to setup a hunt group where one phone has all it's calls forwarded to an external number.
