SPA232D + IP Phone SPA942

Hi, does anyone use combination of SPA232D and IP Phone as extension to use PSTN from remote building? I'm trying to configure it out but no success. I'm following several guides and how-to abuot SPA3102 and PAP2 with no success. SPA232D works great with incoming and outgoing pstn calls, I'm using DP (*xx<:gw0>|xx.<:@gw0>) for the moment.

Any suggestion or step by step guide will be appreciated

You mentioned you have a issue, but didn't dissclosed the issue you have. You just mentioned SPA232D works great which seems to describe no issue ...

You should describe calling scenario in details and provide syslog&debug captured during failing call.

Ok...as soon as possible i'll post syslog...call scenario is the following:

same network, SPA232D = 192.168.1.250, SPA942 = 192.168.1.198. If an inbound PSTN call is not answered on phone plugged in fxs port on SPA232D after xx seconds, SPA232D must forward the call on Ext2 line of SPA942. I need also intercommunication between the devices if possible, like a "hotline", using correct dialplan on both devices. The main function which I need is to use Ext2 line on SPA942 to make outbound calls using PSTN connected on SPA232D.
I hope the explanation is clear, soory for my incorrect english i'm italian

Our English should be compatible enough as I'm no native speaker as well.

So you beliewe the incomming call will ring on FXS port, and rerouted to particular SIP target if unanswered.

I'm unsure the SPA232D provide call-forward-on-no-answer supplementary service.

I will wait for logs (Debug and syslog Messages from SPA1x2 and SPA232D ATA (Analog Telephone Adapters) may help you), but note the SPA232D is not designed to be smart call manager.  An external SIP proxy may be required to fulfill your wishes.

And one more small notice related to configuration you provided in first message.Read

XML format is more readable and suitable for analysis.

I worked hard last night and now all works perfectly. I checked all configuration parameters, I corrected some mistakes on dial plan and now all needed call scenarios work fine. I configured scenario with SPA232D + SPA942 and using SPA232D + SPA2102 too.

SPA232D - 192.168.1.203

SPA2102 - 192.168.1.204

SPA942   - 192.168.1.198

- Incoming call on PSTN port on SPA232D if not answered after 20 seconds is redirectred to SPA942 using DP (S0<:userid@192.168.1.204:5061>)

or

- Incoming call on PSTN port on SPA232D if not answered after 20 seconds is redirectred to phone connected on SPA2102 using DP (S0<:userid@192.168.1.198:5061>)

- SPA942 can call phone connected on SPA232D phone port by IP Dialing using DP (<#9:>S0<:192.168.1.203:5060>|xx.) as a hot line dialing #9

- Phone connected on SPA232D phone port can call SPA942 and phone connected on SPA2102 by IP Dialing using

DP (<#9:userid@192.168.1.204:5061>|<#8:userid@192.168.1.198:5061>|xx.<:@gw0>) dialing #9 or #8

- Phone connected on SPA2102 phone port can call phone connected on SPA232D phone port by IP Dialing using DP (<#9:>S0<:192.168.1.203:5060>|xx.) as a hot line dialing #9

I made some tests and all works fine, i attach syslog file to get some advice to improve still something. I made a call from my mobile +39349xxxxxxx on pstn, after 20 seconds forwarded on SPA942 and then answered.

Glad to hear you solved the issue. Moreover, thank you very much you described the solution here. It will help other to solve simmilar issues.
