SPA3102: Integration into LAN?

Hello everybody,

I need help, I'can't bring the SPA3102 working.

My wanted configuration:

  • LAN with static IP adresses
  • Router (192.168.1.1) connected with the cable modem
  • SPA3102 (192.168.1.2) connected anywhere to the LAN (using several switches)
  • A lot of ethernet devices

I've access to the 3102 by browser. But how can I manage, that I can connect with a phone to the Internet?

I didn't found any docs describing my problem. Also, there is NO USER MANUAL available for this device!

I hope, anybody can help me. I've a lot of Linksys / CISCO devices, but now I guess, this was the last one...

Thanks a lot to all - bye Peter

Wrong forum, post in "small business voice - ATA and gateways". You can move your post using the actions panel on the right.

Dear Paolo,

thanks for reply, I moved my call now. Have a nice summer!

Bye - Peter

If you setup the SPA3102 for a static ip address, i.e.

Router-->WAN Setup-->Connection Type--> Static IP

then you must setup the Primary DNS: and Secondary DNS:  to do the DNS lookups for your symbolic ip addresses used in the configuration.  You must also connect the WAN ethernet port to the internet source

You can find a quick SPA3102 Setup Guide:

You can find a detailed SPA3102 Administration Guide:
