We have several SPA504G phones. We cannot put a call on hold, go to another phone and pick the call up. It has to be transferred - is there a way to link the phones so any phone can pickup a call on hold?
Thank you if you can help :)

It's not phone's job. It's PBX (or call manager) job. So what device yours phones are connected to ?

Hi-
Do you have a resolution for this ? We have a call center with 6 identically programmed phones. When one puts a call on hold, none of the others can pick it up - it shows steady red as though call is in progress.

Don't wish for solution of issue not described. Even simple question related to environment has not been responded.
According my experience, it mean the issue has been solved - and it has been caused by trivial misconfiguration (e.g. administrator's bug).
We even don't know if this community is the best for the question in question. So if you wish for valuable response, create new thread and describe your particular issue. New thread should be created in appropriate community. If behavior of your phone network is driven by a central switch, then this community (dedicated to end devices) is not the best choice as those are rather dumb peripherals only (in such case).

Yes, I did fix the problem. And a few others after figuring out the way it "wanted" to be configured to work. My specific problem was being able to place calls on hold from line 1, then pick it up at any other extension. This was not able to be done without call management s/w on the server. I was able to transfer to any other line and pick up anywhere after some playing around.
