SPA504G REgister Expires Problem

Hi,

We do have SPA504G phones on the field. Phones are sending re-register invite after 8 mins passed from a successfull reregistration. Second registration attempt is not in vaild format , hence Softswitch sends 403 forbidden and registeration drops. Please see below register attempts. What makes ip-phone send an unathorised register attempt after 8 mins ?

For the purpose of analysis of "packed have no valid format" we need to have the affected packed, not just the claim there has been one.

So please provide example of sucesful registration as well as those rejected one.

8 mins After succcesfull registration SPA504G sends below register packet and softswitch returns forbidden.

Also note that if the critical difference will be hidden by you, then it will not be found.

Hi Dan,

I have added  file in the attachement. I am just hiding ip addresses, username and realm info. Also we upgraded one of the SPA504G to new release and the situation was same.

OK. There is no difference in non-hidden part of successful/failing REGISTER requests.

Unfortunately, the further step is imminent. If the REGISTER is not rejected because of its content (assuming no issue is hidden behind black lines) then it's rejected at service provider discretion.

So you need to contact your service provider.

Also note you are using ancient firmware version. Consider upgrade to more recent one.
