I have a client with ten SPA509G phones, and have configured the Feature buttons down the left to be "line monitors" for other users in the room as a quick method of picking up calls, transferring etc. I had explained to the users that the line turns red if the person is on the phone, which for the most part is true, but every once and a while it does not light up when they are on the line or stays on when they have hung up.
I could live with a few second delay but I have witnessed a five minute telephone call not being notified on the Line Monitor. It this a known fault?

P.S. Before anyone says what difference does it make if they are all in the same room, they use it to monitor whether the boss is on the phone, in his own room.
