I have a 514G that we bought about 2 years ago to use with RingCentral. It worked fine until about 2 months ago. All of a sudden all of the lights began to flash quickly. After powering the phone down and plugging it back in it is still happening. The phone will not boot up at all and is totally unusable. Any suggestions on how to proceed from here? I wish there was some sort of reset button, but there doesn't seem to be. Don't really want to throw it away and buy another. I expect more from Cisco products than this!! Thanks for your help.

I assume it's out of warranty and you verified the phone is sending no network packets of any kind (e.g. is silent on the wire)
There's not so much the casual user can do with broken SPA5xx phone. Reset to factory default requires access to either menu or WWW UI which is not the case here. Broken firmware can be repaired by recovery firmware procedure, but phone is asking for it via Ethernet - not your case. There's nothing more you can do. There's no hardware reset button and it's intentional - one of most valuable and exceptional feature of the SPA5xx phone is - it can be configured the way that no unauthorized user can take control.
It seems you are just out of luck.
