I just enabled a 525G that it streams to my ReSound Alera 61 hearing aids (via their phone clip). The audio quality is very thing and scratchy, much worse then when paired to my Nexus One Android phone. I'm running the 7.4.6 firmware. I'd read on some other threads regarding beta firmware that might be available that could potentially impact this issue.
I bought the 525G specifically because of the bluetooth functionality.

Dear Sir;
Couple of questions. Do you happen to know if your VoIP connection is using G.711 or G.729 codec?
Audio quality should be ok when on bluetooth (same or similar) to your smartphone, provided the incoming audio quality is good (VoIP source).
Regards
Alberto

I'm using G722. Audio quality with handset only is fine. Bluetooth is very very scratchy and noisey, even with nearby RF turned off (e.g. Smartphone, laptop, etc...)
