I recently extended my SPA525G with 2 attendant consoles with LCD screen (SPA500DS). I have an issue with the LCD contrast. I hope anyone can help me with this.
Our phones are provisioned using an XML file using the following settings:
<Attendant_Console_Font_Size ua="na" value="12" /> <!-- options: 10/12 -->
<Attendant_Console_LCD_Contrast ua="na" value="30" />
Changing the console font size using XML works. If I set it to 10 the font size is indeed changed. Changing the LCD Contrast doesn't seem to do anything. It looks like every time the phone is reset (due to reprovisioning) the attendant consoles fallback into a default LCD Contrast setting. Also, the first console seems to have a different contrast setting than the second one.
I am able to fix this using the phone's menu (information and settings -> user preferences -> attn. console preferences -> LCD contrast). If I set this to eg. 30, both consoles are updated. However, this update is reverted once the phone reboots due to reprovisioning.
So, summarized:
- Setting attn. console contrast using XML does not do anything
- Both consoles have different default values?
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the firmware?
