I have seen articles explainging that the SPA525G phone supports SSL based VPN's to the UC500 do any of the other models in the 500 series support this option?

Currently this option is available on the SPA525.

Is this option likely to be added to the firmware release of any other phones?

No Plans at this time to expand to the other SPA500 series phones.....
