Just recently I was viewing my Configuration Utility and then the next time I attempted to connect, it asked for a log in that I was never presented with prior in all the years I have had my SPA303. I have spent numerous hours trying to track down what is going on and seem to think that the SPA program that controls the Configuration Utility resides on a proxy server somewhere. I don't know where or who, all I know is that my Voip (SIP) provider tells me they do not support customer phone configuration when I explained my problem to them.
Attempts on the Community forum to assist would have me do a factory reset, but if you think about it, that would spell disaster. My phone is working and I need it for my business, but I just can't log into the Configuration Utility to make any changes. If I do a factory reset, I will have no way to input my Voip specific data values to allow connection, and I will then be without telephone service.
I think that there is a program application under the /SPA/opt/bin file that supposedly controls the CU. (I'm guessing) Anyone with knowledge about how the CU works is asked to chime in.
Here's what I see when I attempt to access the CU:
----------------------------------------------------
SPA303 Configuration Utility
Windows Security
The server 192,xxx,x,xx is asking for your user name and password. The server reports that it is from spa user.

------------------------------------------------------
Nothing I enter works, including the default admin/admin or blank/blank, as well as everything else I put in but the kitchen sink.
Can anyone tell me what's going on?
