Hi,
I am searching for an UC system that can handle external telephones.
The best option would be an UC that is also an Router/firewall and the telephones could connect to the external IP of the main office.
Could anyone sugest me an UC and some telephones?
Regards,
Gerald

Dear Gerald;
Definitively, best option with this scenario is the Unified Communications 500 system (UC500).
Depending on the user count, you can select between the UC540 (sub-20 users, as it supports a maximum of 32 users) and the UC560 (up to 138 phones).
The link above has description and other details of the product. They can be purchased via our SMB specialized partner network. You can locate it here:

If you are a partner and would like to specialize on it, you need to become SMB specialized.

Good Afternoon, I take it that the UC320 does not support external extensions then? If a customer wanted a user at home to hang a SPA500 series phone off of their router and wanted to connect it to the UC320 in the office for example, this wouldnt be possible?
Many thanks.

That's right. Teleworker on UC320 is not supported yet. We are working on it, but it is still several months away.

Hi,
first thank you for the quick answer. So I will offer an UC540 to customer.
Are there any suggestions for the bandwith? Will it be OK to have an WAN via Cable (100MBit / 20 MBit) in the office and for home office with 8 Mbit/ 786 kBit.
Does the home office need an static IP or will it also work with an dynamic IP?
Has anyone try to connect an iPhone to an UC500???
Regards,
Gerald
