How does one configure the UC320W to only work as a voice appliance?
I'd like to have a separate firewall (ASA5505) terminating WAN and a POE switch (any recommended model?).
Since the box services both data & voice vlan, do we need setup a trunk port to another switch? (is the UC320W capable of this?)
Any input will be appreciated. TY

Hi J,
Yes you can use the UC320W to work as routing Voice only. You can set the ASA to route Data to WAN. We have a Smart Design that entails the scenario that you are attempting- though it describes using the SA500, you can use the guidelines to setup using your ASA.
Here is link to UC320W documentation.

As for a POE switch, take a look at the Cisco SG300.
Hope this helps you move on right direction.
Best regards,
Julio
