Hello,
I completely agree that the latest CCA release allows you to do most if not all configuration tasks on a UC500 from the tool. However, there are still a couple of things that you might want to do via the CLI.
Is this supported or not? There used to be a document describing how you can alter a UC500 configuration from the CLI without interfering with the CCA configuration. Does this still apply? Or is the official statement now that we can only use CCA?
Thanks a lot in advance for your advice
Best regards
Rudy

Hi Rudy,
It is my understanding that of This January SBSC will only support CCA. When selling only sell what is on the data sheet, everything that is on the data sheet is configurable through CCA.
If you have a UC520 then CLI is support through regular TAC.

From my experience, there is no OOB anymore since SBS will only support CCA now.
CCA does not support SIP devices, FXO to Paging system - all of the items that a small business would probably need/want.
While CLI still works, I wouldn't bet down the road it will.
You are better off selling CME, if you need support.
