UC520 and Overhead Paging

I'm trying to setup my UC520 to support overhead paging.  I have a Yorkville/Coliseum CA1 Amplifier.  On the back is has a telephone paging connections for tip/ring.  I plugged that into my UC520's FXS port and assigned an extension to it.  When I call the extension, the CA1 makes a loud noise as if it is a phone ringing, but never connects.  Should I be doing something different?

Seems your amplifier doesn't have the ability to "pick up" the ringing "station". I normally use a paging controller to overcome this type of issue. I have used many Valcom products like the 2001a and others with no issue.
