We are deploying a new UC560 where a group of phones are going to be placed at a remote location. The phones register successfully with CME through a Site to Site tunnel made from 2 ASAs. At first we enabled as Teleworker all the phones in the remote location but we noticed that calls between 2 phones in the same remote site were using to much VPN bandwidth (95 Kbps Up and 95 Kbps down) (similar to a call made from the main site to the remote site). Then we disabled the Teleworker option on the phones and when we made the call between the 2 phones the VPN bandwidth usage went down to 1 Kbps Up and Down. Is this expected? Should not be the other way around?
Thanks in advance
David
We are using 2 ASA 5505 for the Site to Site tunnel. Behind one of the ASA is the UC560 and behind the other ASA are the IP phones 7975.

hi that is expected behavior, you have to keep in mind these
- disable the 'teleworker option' means media channel (RTP) establishe directly between 2 phones, in your case it will works
- but if there is different 2 sites and try to make a call will fail.
so question is is there only one remote site, any plan to add more site?

Well at first this will be our only site, but in the future we will be adding more remote sites. But I now understand.
Thanks for your response.
