Hi,
I do have an inquiry on the provisioning of WRP400. This is how we configure SPA9x2 phones, just wondering if we can use the same on the WRP400. SPA9x2 phones will first go to our rework bench, the bench has a server with the generic config. We use the spc tool for our generic config. GPP_SA, Profile Rule, etc is set on the generic config. After this the phone is plugged in the internet to get it's config on our Auto-config server where the Profile Rule it's pointing at and using the GPP_SA key.
On the Auto-config server, we use to encrypt the config file using this syntax:
openssl enc -aes-256-cbc -salt -in spa<mac>.cfg -out spa<mac>.enc
I tried this on the WRP400. I successfully configure our rework bench with a generic config. WRP400 is getting this config. However, when I'm working on the Auto-config server it seems that the device is not getting the config. Does WRP400 can read a config file if it's encrypted using openssl enc -aes-256-cbc -salt -in wrp<mac>.cfg -out wrp<mac>.enc ?
I was also trying a plain xml config and still the WRP400 is not getting it from the Auto-config server.

Ryan

Dear Glenn;
In general, you should use same procedures for WRP400, with some particularities:
(1) If you want to configure data parameters also, then you need to use XML format only.
(2) You need to use the SPC for the WRP400 firmware indicated, otherwise it will fail.
I suggest you take a look at this discussion related to WRP400 provisioning.

Dear Alberto,
I have been trying to obtain the WRP400 Provisioning Guide to help with the enabling of a voice codec on the WRP400, but the TAC seems to only have the Installation and Administrator's Guide, What is the proper channel to obtain the provisioning guide?
Thanks,
Adriana
