Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this door phone adn a UC560 system. Or is it even compatible?

Dear Shaun;
For Cisco perspective (they may be partners experienced with this product integration with UC500): we have not tested nor documented the integration with Algo doorphone.
Our third party recommendation is for Cyberdata SIP doorphone. An app note is available on this community.

Alberto

Yes and it was very easy. You just need to config the SIP via CLI. E.g.
voice register global
mode cme
source-address 10.xx.xx.xx port 5060
max-dn 1
max-pool 1
authenticate register
authenticate realm compdom.local
!
voice register dn 1
number 270
name Doorphone
!
voice register pool 1
id mac xxxx.xxxx.xxxx
number 1 dn 1
username 270 password xxxxxxxxxx
codec g711ulaw
!

You don't mention what problem you were experiencing but I'm hoping you may be able share something with us...
We've installed the 8028 with an Asterisk based system behind a cisco sf100d-05 switch in a remote area of a warehouse. The Algo isn't able to make an ethernet connection through the switch. When we returned to the office we were able to replicate the failure but if we put it behind a non cisco switch it worked fine. I then plugged it into our managed cisco switch with the same result but after changing the connection from auto to 100 full the Algo lit up and started to work. Modifying the port to auto reverted back to a non functional device. We're working with Algo for a solution as it appears it is an issue with their device and no other device we plug into the switch.
